 May 2021Rise Up Project is an initiative that provides essential job skills to help enter and advance in the workplace. We host the panel as a way for our participants to interact with others and gain different perspectives from other individuals in addition to their coaches. One common question that we receive is how to facilitate salary negotiation when being extended an offer. In this TED Talk, Casey Brown shares helpful stories and learnings that can help you better communicate your value and get paid for your excellence. Join us for our next event! I started volunteering with Rise Up Project because I believe in their mission to uplift others in functional job searching areas, especially those of marginalized communities. I was a first-generation college graduate and want to provide my expertise with others. In my spare time, I love to be with my dog Honey, who I adopted in May 2020.
